Champing in England | Churches Conservation Trust

Champing is the ultimate ‘slow tourism’ escape, after an idea by the Churches Conservation Trust of England - the national charity protecting historic churches at risk. With England’s historic churches offering their own unique havens of tranquility, champers enjoy a two-day, one-night break at one of three (by now ) historic churches, with the building to themselves, surrounded by rural simplicity and hundreds of years of history.
The association is currently offering champing at the Church of St Cyriac and St Julitta in the village of Swaffham Prior, near Cambridge, at All Saint's Church, Aldwincle, Northamptonshire and at the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Fordwich, Kent. - Read more here
